There is a LOT of controversy on what is safe and what isn't but we will ALWAYS err on the side of safety because the price you will pay for a mistake in this area is great if you're wrong. Most of the compounds considered toxic to mammals should  be considered toxic to birds. 

Do Not Feed ...

  • Avocado

  • Alcohol

  • Chocolate

  • Cheese or dairy products

  • Coffee or any caffeinated items

  • Grit

  • Moldy anything (grain, seed, nuts in the shell etc)

  • Mushroom

  • Onion

  • Poor grade peanuts in the shell

  • Salty snack foods
